 I woke up again at around 3AM and noticed that the nurse was checking mama for vital signs. 

It never occurred to me that she did not find any signs of life at all. 

She went out of the room looking for the doctor. 

As soon as she did, I got up and walked near mama’s bed and noticed bubbles forming out of her mouth. I quickly got a hand of a roll of tissue and wiped the froth from her mouth. 

I threw the wet tissue near the sink and got back to her bed. 

I noticed that the oxygen was turned off and mama was already not moving. There was no sign of her breathing – no up and down motion of her chest.  

She was also a bit darker than her usual skin color. At that very moment my heart started beating fast. 

The door opened behind me and her doctor arrived. 

I stopped. 

My heart still pounding. 

He checked mama’s pulse on the wrist and then tried on her neck. 

After a minute or so of careful checking he confirmed what I was dreading to hear. 

“Time of death 3:16 AM. Condolence po sir.”

How to fix “Invalid Payment Details” error when paying for your PSA Serbilis using your BDO mobile app

 Have you encountered the following error when paying for your PSA Serbilis using your BDO mobile? "Invalid Payment Details" is displayed after proceeding with the payment for PSA Serbilis using BDO mobile app I did. And it was annoying. Luckily I watched a Youtube video and there I discovered my mistake.  So, here’s to help those who might encounter the same issue. Here’s how you can fix the problem. On the Bills Payment Screen: BDO Mobile App Bills Payment Screen 1. Make sure that all required fields are filled in. Note: You can leave “Remarks” blank. 2. Double check the “Pay this Company/Biller” field. It should be “PSA SERBILIS (UNISYS)". 3. Double check the “Pay From” field. Make sure that the account has enough balance to proceed with the transaction. 4. Double check the “Amount” field. PHP 330.00 is for Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificates (per copy) while PHP 430.00 is for CENOMAR (per copy). 5. Fill in Subscriber Name. It can be “PSA Birth Certificate”

How to send E-load to PayMaya or GCASH using your BPI app

Please take note of the following before proceeding: You should already have a verified GCash or PayMaya account. You should have the BPI app installed in your smartphone. Steps: Open your BPI mobile app and log in using your credentials: 2.  Go to Payments/Load > Load E-Wallet: 3. Select the account you want your load to come from. 4. Select E-Wallet by clicking on the icon shown: Clicking on the icon will allow users to select E-Wallet account Shows the different E-Wallet accounts 5. Fill in Reference number (this is your GCASH/PAYMAYA number). 6. Fill in Load amount. (Note: P 500 is the minimum load amount for GCASH and Paymaya). 7. Fill in Notes if needed 8. Click Next to proceed to Step 2 of 3 - Verifying transaction using OTP. 9. Confirm transaction by verifying OTP which will be sent to your enrolled BPI phone number. (No screenshot for this).
